Game Night at Dodger Stadium

Greetings once again from Dodger Stadium, where tonight the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the visiting New York Mets.

The Dodgers send Hyun-Jin Ryu to the mound tonight.  He will be opposed by Mets ace pitcher Matt Harvey.

The Dodgers took game one of the three game set by a score of 4-2 last night, with Ricky Nolasco picking up the win.  Adrian Gonzalez got a big 2 run single that turned into a 2 base error, and Nick Punto hit just his second home run of the season.

The Dodgers, winners of 6 in a row, hold a 7 1/2 game lead in the division and are 20-3 since the All Star Break.  The team boasts a 38-8 record since June 22nd, the best record over a 46 game stretch in 71 years.

A big crowd expected tonight and the roads into the stadium are jammed, as you can see from the above photo of the ramp from the 110 north to the Downtown Gate.  Please be patient getting into the ballpark tonight, and enjoy the game!
