VIDEO: “An Adventure Into Enemy Territory.” Dodgers vs. Giants @ AT&T Park

Greetings to all followers of Eric’s Dodgers Blog.  You may have noticed that we’ve had some talk about and even posted a couple of raw clips from footage of AT&T Park that was filmed about a week and a half back when The Blog went to San Francisco to see the Dodgers take on the San Francisco Giants.

After several efforts to get the video to work right, we have succeeded in getting both the video and its related audio onto a MacBook Air (for some reason it didn’t want to play nice with my iMac) and dutifully made a serious effort to work within the confines of the little machine’s 64 gigs of hard drive space (meaning pulling anything and everything possible off of it and onto a flash drive) and finally had some success!  The Little MacBook Air That Could!

Eric Becker of Eric’s Dodgers Blog gives you a game day experience at San Francisco’s AT&T Park. Filmed on July 6th, 2013, the Los Angeles Dodgers take on their rivals the San Francisco Giants. A ballpark tour, fan interviews and some game action (and maybe just the slightest bit of smack talk, but all in good fun.) Also since this was filmed in real time, breaking news events as they happened include learning about the crash of Asiana Flight 214 at San Francisco International Airport and the Dodgers’ acquisition of Ricky Nolasco from the Miami Marlins. Bay Area Dodger Fan Raul Gomez also makes his Eric’s Dodger Blog Film debut!

(If the embedded video is not showing up in your browser, here is a direct link to the YouTube page where the video is located.)

The video is about 80 minutes long, so you’ve been warned in advance that this video takes a little time to watch.  However, you’re getting some historical perspectives, a ballpark tour, advice on where to wine and dine, and some in-game action free-of-charge.  The only thing that would make it better is if I paid you to watch it!

*Viewer discretion is advised.  Although I made my best effort to refrain from foul language or discussion of inappropriate topics, please be aware that the video footage is being filmed in a Major League Baseball Park and I’ve captured sights and sounds as they happened.
